SMS Consent & Notifications
Refind uses SMS to support core product functionality, including secure authentication, lead communication, and service-related notifications.
Privacy Policy: No mobile data will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
How SMS Consent Is Provided
Users consent to receive SMS messages by explicitly providing their mobile phone number within the Refind application or by initiating contact through the platform.
At the time a phone number is provided or a message is initiated, users are informed that their phone number will be used to send and receive SMS messages related to Refind's services.
Providing a phone number or initiating contact constitutes affirmative consent to receive SMS messages as described below.
Authentication & Security Messages
Refind may send one-time authentication or security codes (2FA) via SMS to verify account access. These messages are required to securely access the service.
Lead Communication & Proxy Messaging
When an end user initiates contact with a business through Refind, SMS messages may be relayed using proxy phone numbers. This allows both parties to communicate without exposing their personal phone numbers.
Messages sent via proxy numbers are conversational, contextual, and directly related to the initiated request.
User-Initiated Invitations
Users may send one-time SMS invitations to people they know by manually entering a phone number and tapping "Send Invite." These messages are sent on behalf of the user, are not marketing messages, and include opt-out instructions.
Affiliate Notifications
Affiliate users may receive SMS notifications related to account activity such as referral link updates, campaign changes, balance updates, and payouts. These messages are transactional and may be disabled in account settings.
Business Notifications
Business users may receive SMS notifications related to lead activity, wallet balance, deposits, referral link status, and account or service alerts. These messages are transactional and may be disabled in account settings.
Opt-Out & Help
Users may reply STOP at any time to stop receiving SMS messages.
Users may reply HELP for assistance.
Message frequency varies based on usage.
Message and data rates may apply.
We do not send promotional or marketing messages via SMS.
